Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Solutions Engineer with strong technical expertise in hospital room devices and patient engagement technologies. The ideal candidate has experience with nurse call systems, virtual nursing solutions, pillow speakers, hospital grade televisions, and hospital patient engagement platforms.
You will serve as the technical bridge between Lincata’s product team and our customers, helping hospitals integrate our solution into patient rooms. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving challenging infrastructure solution design, improving support processes, and influencing product evolution.
Expected travel requirements will be less than 10%.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement
Serve as a technical expert during sales cycles, demonstrating product capabilities, security, and flexibility to support varied customer infrastructure.
Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand hospital requirements, device ecosystems, and clinical workflows.
Collaborate with sales and product teams to design tailored solutions for prospective customers.
Configure and guide prospects through proof of concept LincTV testing scenarios.
Implementation & Integration
Support installations, configurations, and integrations with systems such as nurse call, virtual nursing, pillow speakers and TV settings to include Live TV.
Work closely with customer IT, clinical engineering, and vendor partners to ensure seamless connectivity across devices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving Linux systems, networking, Android/Android TV OS environments, TV settings, and MDM platforms.
Required Qualifications
Experience working with hospital room clinical and entertainment devices (e.g., nurse call, virtual nursing platforms, pillow speakers, interactive patient systems, Hospital grade TVs).
Strong understanding of Linux systems, enterprise networking, and MDM tools.
Hands-on experience with Android OS, ideally Android TV OS and common TV operating systems.
Comfort in fast-paced, early-stage environments with evolving priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer.
Experience working with hospitals, health systems, or healthcare technology vendors.
Experience developing or improving technical documentation.
